What Front Desk does, what it does not do, and what you can expect from it.

What this is
Therapist Front Desk looks at publicly available information about a therapy practice — its website, its Google Business Profile, and where it appears in local search — and reports what it finds. You may use it for a practice you run or work in, or one you have been asked to look at on the practice's behalf.
What it is not
It is not professional advice. Some findings touch on regulated matters — a Good Faith Estimate notice, a privacy policy, how an enquiry form handles what people type into it. Those findings are observations about a web page, not a legal or compliance opinion, and we cannot see the practice behind the page. Where something on your site has legal weight, ask your professional body, your liability carrier, or a lawyer. Do not treat a report from us as a substitute for that.
It is not a guarantee of results. We can tell you what we found and what usually helps. Nobody can promise search rankings, and anyone who does is selling something. Google decides what ranks and does not explain itself.
It does not touch clinical information. Therapist Front Desk has no access to client records, appointments, or practice management systems. Do not send us any. If you email us something about a client, we will delete it and tell you we have.
What we can and cannot see
Every finding comes from information that is already public, or from an account you explicitly connected. We report what we could see at the time we looked. Where a check says we could not find something, that means we did not find it on the pages we read — not that it does not exist. Websites and Google listings change, and some sites block automated readers entirely.
We aim to be accurate and we would rather say "we could not check" than guess. If something in a report is wrong, tell us — we will correct it and fix the underlying check.
Using it fairly
Run audits for practices you are connected to. Do not use Therapist Front Desk to compile information about competitors at scale, and do not automate against it. We rate-limit requests and may decline to run an audit without giving a reason.
Your website
By asking for an audit you confirm you are entitled to have that site examined. We read pages the way any visitor would, we respect robots.txt, and we pace requests so as not to burden a site. We do not attempt to reach anything behind a login.
Connected accounts
If you connect a Google account, you can disconnect it at any time from your Google account permissions. Our access is read-only and we cannot change anything in your account. What we do with that data is described in the privacy page.
Availability and liability
Therapist Front Desk is provided as it is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, and reports may be incomplete when a third party we rely on is down. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it or from acting on what it says. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms; material changes will be told to the people they affect. Therapist Front Desk is run by Alex Papadopulos — write to alexpapa@gmail.com with anything at all.
